Where do you ship from?

We ship all our orders from our studio in Sydney, NSW.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver all over Australia.

How much is shipping?

Standard shipping is FREE on gift boxes over $99!

For orders under $99 standard shipping is $10.

Express shipping is a flat rate of $15.

We also offer next business day/Select a Date delivery in Metro Sydney within 30km of The Untypical HQ. If the date is available, you can select a date for delivery. That way you can guarantee a delivery date for any special occasion! Orders must be placed before 3pm on the day prior to delivery.

When will my parcel arrive?

You order will be processed in 1-2 days business days.

Standard shipping times are 2-10 business days.

Express shipping times are 1- 4 business days.

Select A Date (Sydney Metro Only) - Order by 3pm prior to the proposed delivery date.

Delivery delays are expected for rural areas, and during busy periods such as Christmas, long weekends, and public holidays.

Please note that once the parcel is with the courier, they are responsible for delivering it within their specified timeframes. We do not take responsibility for delayed or lost packages.

Can my gift box arrive on a specific date?

You can use the Select a Date delivery service if you are in Metro Sydney. You can choose a specific date for delivery if the order is placed before 3pm on the day prior delivery (or earlier if we have reached our capacity).

How do I track my delivery?

Once your order has been shipped, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation and tracking information via email. You will be able to track the package using the link in the email and the tracking details provided.

What do I do if I have made an error on the delivery address?

It is really important to check and re-check the delivery address during the checkout process.

If there is an error with the address please email us at hello@theuntypical.com.au ASAP.

If your order has been dispatched, unfortunately we cannot update the address as the parcel is with the courier company.

Can I create a custom gift box?

Absolutely! Create your own Untypical gift box.  

Browse through our incredible product range to create an unforgettable gift for your favourite people! 

Can I add a gift card?

Of course! Choose your card and leave a message in the “Gift Card” section of the order. We love your meaningful messages! We will handwrite it and pack it in the gift box. 

How long will it take to process my order?

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days

Do you include prices or invoices on the products or in the box?

Rest assured - we won’t include any paperwork, invoices, or prices in the gift box! 

Can the gift be sent directly to the recipient?

Yes, it is completely up to you where you send the gift! You can send the gift box directly to the recipient. Ensure you enter their address in the “Shipping” section of the checkout process. 

Please check the address has been entered correctly, including house and unit numbers. Payment options including Apple Pay and PayPal may change the address the details entered to your default address so double check ALL details prior to confirmation.

Can I place a bulk order of boxes for my clients/friends/colleagues? 

Yes, you certainly can! Send us an email at hello@theuntypical.com.au with your request and we will be in touch to discuss options and our bulk ordering process. 

What do I do if my item arrived faulty or damaged?

If an item is damaged, please email us at hello@theuntypical.com.au within 48 hours of receiving the package. Please include your order details and photos of the damaged goods and we will be happy to look into this further. 

The tracking link has marked the parcel as delivered but the recipient hasn’t received it. 

By purchasing our gift boxes you consent to an authority to leave. This means that parcels will be left somewhere on the premises that the courier deems safe, without a signature.  

If there are any concerns, please contact Sendle/Australia Post with your tracking number. Once your parcel has been sent, it is the buyer’s responsibility to contact the courier company directly as it out of our hands. 

It is also really important to enter the correct address and recipient. Check and re-check. We do not take any responsibility for incorrect addresses. We do not offer refunds or replacements for parcels that are lost. 

What's your return policy?

Once the payment is complete, the sale is finalised. We don't accept any refunds or returns unless an item is damaged.
